Through the S&T Policy Academy’s Certificate program, you will take classes in:

Live Topical Classes for Individuals

Once a semester, the S&T Policy Academy offers a new topical class live. Students watch tutorial videos at their own pace and meet weekly to discuss the tutorial content and workshop the activities for each module.

Classes occur over the course of 4 weeks. The date and time for the weekly calls will be determined by students via vote, and you will have access to recordings of the live sessions in case you miss one.

I’m Dr. Deborah D. Stine, the founder and chief instructor at S&T Policy Academy. For over 30 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to work as a policy analyst, consensus builder, communicator, and educator.

I’ve built my skills not only through academic training but through real-world experience at some of the top science and technology policy organizations in the country, including the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine; the Congressional Research Service; the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy; and Carnegie Mellon University.
